The WAMU 88.5 tour provides visitors with a fun and educational behind-the-scenes look at how a public radio station operates. The tour will include a visit to the WAMU's radio production studios, performance spaces, and work areas.

Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours in advance.

The tour will last for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Metro

Get off at Van Ness Metro (Red Line). Use the east exit (to your right). When you get to street level, Connecticut Avenue will be on your left. Walk half of a block and WAMU 88.5 will be on your right. Above the building entrance, you will see "American University".

Parking

Metered street parking is very limited but available. The closest parking garage is the Landmark Parking Garage one block from WAMU 88.5. The parking garage is connected to Van Ness Center (4301 Connecticut Ave NW) and Giant Food. The entrance to the garage is located off Veazey Terrace NW. The parking rates for the garage are as follows: $7 (up to 1 hour); $11 (1-2 hours); and $13 (3+ hours).
